Unicaf and MyScape Hub Sign MoU to Advance Youth Empowerment 

Unicaf and MyScape Resource Center Limited (MyScape Hub) have formalised a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), strengthening their shared commitment to expanding educational opportunities, skills development and student empowerment in Zambia.

The MoU was signed on 9 September 2026 at the Unicaf University campus in Lusaka, where representatives of both organisations gathered for a ceremony marking the beginning of their collaboration.

The partnership will focus on cooperation in academic programmes, research and student enrolment, creating opportunities for the two organisations to work together in support of accessible, relevant and quality education and professional development.

MyScape Hub is a social enterprise dedicated to empowering young people and women through skills development, career preparation, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, mentorship and personal wellbeing. The organisation also promotes leadership, networking and sustainable development, including opportunities within the green economy.

Through the partnership, Unicaf and MyScape Hub aim to combine their respective strengths to help young people and women develop the knowledge, skills and qualifications needed to pursue employment, entrepreneurship and greater financial independence.

The signing ceremony commenced with a welcome address from Unicaf University leadership, followed by a presentation from MyScape Hub representatives outlining the organisation’s vision for the partnership. The key terms and areas of collaboration set out in the MoU were subsequently presented, before the agreement was formally signed by the authorised representatives of both parties.

Speaking during the ceremony, representatives of both organisations highlighted their shared commitment to quality education, practical skills development and empowering students to achieve their personal and professional goals.

The event concluded with a group photography and networking session, providing an opportunity for representatives of Unicaf and MyScape Hub to strengthen relationships and discuss opportunities for future collaboration.

The signing of the MoU marks an important milestone in the efforts of both institutions to contribute to educational access and professional development in Zambia. By working together, Unicaf and MyScape Hub seek to create meaningful opportunities that equip learners and young professionals with the education, skills and support needed to thrive in a changing world.
