This study examines the perception of key stakeholders within Nigeria’s public systems about the challenges and strategies for the incorporation of sustainable public system reforms. Semi-structured interviews was used as the primary data collection method and thematic analysis was employed to examine the challenges in introducing sustainable public system reforms by interviewing 40 stakeholders of Nigeria’s public systems. The finding suggests strategies to better meet the evolving needs of current and future generations in the public system of Nigeria. A sustainable public system reform in Nigeria can only be possible through proper policy implementation to improve the governance system.
